Upcoming Board of Directors & Annual Membership Meeting
Please join us on Saturday, March 28th, at 11:30 am for the 2026 Annual Meeting and Election Day for five Director positions on the Board for Apache Shores Property Owners Association, Inc. (Apache Shores POA). The meeting will be held at 14919 General Williamson Drive, at the Apache Shores POA Barn.
Importantly, you will be able to vote either in person at the Annual Meeting or before by absentee mail or electronic ballot. More information on how to vote is found on the enclosed ballot.
Important Community Updates – Termination of Spectrum’s Contract
On January 30, 2026, Spectrum terminated its contract with Apache Shores POA, effective March 31, 2026. Spectrum will continue to provide management services, assist in day-to-day operations, and help plan and coordinate the Annual Meeting and Election Day. Spectrum will remain the agent for Apache Shores POA until March 31, 2026. The Board is working with Spectrum to ensure a smooth transition and transfer of information to the successor management company.
Next Steps – the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process and Status
The Board is actively seeking solicitations through an RFP process for a new management company and will review bids from approximately 10 different companies. The goal is to have the company onboarded by April 1, 2026.
Annual Maintenance Fee
Although the Annual Maintenance Fee is required to be paid by March 1 each year under our Declarations, in light of the management company transition, we will forbear from enforcing payment of the Annual Maintenance Fee until May 1, 2026 (unless a later date is communicated in writing by the board). This forbearance is temporary and shall not constitute an amendment to the Declaration or a waiver of any rights thereunder.
Quorum Requirements
We need a quorum of 10% of community members to vote (online, by absentee, or in person at the Annual Meeting) to ensure the timely election of the five Board member positions. Beyond the formal requirements, your vote demonstrates your investment in our community and provides valuable input on the issues that matter most to you.

The Board of Directors will make decisions that directly affect property values, community standards, financial stability, and the overall quality of life in Apache Shores. the meeting is adjourned on 03/28/2026.
